Veranda House, ca. 1842, represents the best of American Pattern Book building.Your hosts,
Ward & Linda Stanley are the sixth owners of this house which is part of the Rhinebeck
Village Historical District listed in the National Register of Historical Places. The
house is furnished with an eclectic mix of old and new furniture and contemporary American
paintings and drawings. Veranda House Bed and Breakfast serves full Gourmet Breakfasts
with fresh fruit, homemade pastries and a variety of breakfast entrees: orange yogurt
pancakes, crepes, eggs "Veranda", French toast or tomato sausage tart. Breakfast
is served in the dining room or on the terrace overlooking the garden, weather permitting. |
